The most common cause of a non-responsive car remote is a dead battery. Even if it worked yesterday, cold weather or age can suddenly zap its power.

🪙 Most key fobs use a CR2025 or CR2032 battery.
✔️ Replace it if:

The range dropped recently
You need to press the button multiple times
Nothing happens at all

📡 Look for Signal Interference

Certain locations—like underground car parks, petrol stations, or areas near large antennas—can block your remote signal.

📡 Try unlocking your car from the other side or moving a few steps away.
📱 Also ensure other electronics or mobile phones aren’t interfering with the signal in your pocket or bag.

🛠️ Try the Manual Key & Restart the Sync

Most fobs have a hidden physical key inside. Slide it out and use it to open your door manually. Then:

🔑 Try starting the car (if it uses push-start, hold the fob close to the button)
🔄 Some vehicles automatically re-sync the key once the car is running

If it still doesn’t work, it may be a programming issue, not just battery.
